Old Catholics and many Independent Catholics adhere to the traditions of the Church from Apostolic times to the present.  The Ecumenical Councils articulate what Old Catholics believe. Old Catholics trace their tactile Apostolic succession through the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican and Brazilian communities to the Apostles. By this fact we participate in the full sacramental ministry of the CATHOLIC Church.

We hold to the Seven Sacraments of the Church:

Baptism,

Confirmation;

 Reconciliation (penance) 

Holy Eucharist;

Holy Matrimony;

Holy Orders

and the Sacrament of the Sick

Within Christ, Our Teacher Old Catholic Ministry, the Bishop has chosen to follow the Novus Ordo Mass as the standard for our liturgical worship and adheres to the liturgical norms set forth by interjurisdictional consultation. Our ministry follows a Shared governance model.  The Bishop meets with other Old Catholic or Autocephalous Catholic Bishops to ensure that we adhere to matters of faith.  Christ, Our Teacher Catholic Ministry is an inclusive Catholic community;We encourage ecumenical and interfaith dialogue.
